Autobox - check/top up fluid

Autobox - clean stone guard

Alternator & steering pump belts – check tension

Coolant Hoses – check for leaks/condition

Coolant check & replace every 2 years

Air cleaner filter - clean/replace

Spark plugs – clean/check gap (.025” - .64mm) replace every 12,000

Distributor – clean & inspect cap & rotor arm, lube centre bearing, eset points (.014 - .016”)(.35 - .40mm) NOT reqd on electronic ignition

Ignition timing check & adjust 14 deg BTDC

Carburettor – top up damper, check & lube linkages, adjust mixture & idle

Fuel filter – check/replace

Fuel lines – check condition & replace any hard/cracked/perished

Throttle cable – check & lube.

Brake & Clutch fluid reservoir – check/top up - replace 3yrs

Screen washer bottle – clean & replenish with screen wash

Battery – check electrolyte & clean terminals

Power steering - check pipes & hoses for damage/leaks Top up fluid

Fan viscous coupling – should spin with resistance ¼ to ½ turn & quiet in operation

Seat belts – check condition & security

Lights horn indicators wipers – check with an assistant – replace bulbs & blades as reqd

Instruments interior lights switches – check operation

Water leaks – check for damp carpets -replace seals

Pedals – lube pivots

Hood & frame - check & lube pivots

Door/boot hinges & locks – check & lube

Electric windows – lube with silicone spray

Brake pads/discs – check/renew

Suspension bushes – check replace perished

Wheel bearings – check/adjust

Steering rack – check/lube with 5 pumps of grease every 6000 miles check gaiter condition – replace

Track rod ends & ball joints – check/replace

Brake hydraulic system pipes & hoses – check condition/replace

Clutch hydraulic system pipes & hoses – check condition/replace

Shock absorbers/dampers – check for leaks

Wheels & Tyres – check condition & pressures

Monocoque – check condition

Gearbox – top up oil

Differential – top up oil & check breather clear

Handbrake – lube cables & linkages

Exhaust system – check joints & hangers

Brake shoes/drums – check

Handbrake linkages – lube

Drive shaft sliding splines – lube

Drive shaft rubber boots – check/replace

UV joints – grease if fitted with nipples

Suspension arms – check

Shock absorbers - check for leaks

Wheels & tyres – check condition & pressures

Bodywork - check condition

Spare wheel & tyre – check condition/pressure

Jack & tools – check condition

Spares – fan/alternator & steering pump belts
